This movie got me the chance to chat with an actress who we loved in Mannequin and The Flamingo Kid, Actress Carole Davis. The next sequel that will be discussed next is "Piranha II: The Spawning" which is directed by James Cameron. We discussed the main plot of the movie is wrong, the time traveling, the many borrowed movie quotes, Dee Snider crushing it, and so much more. This is a sequel that took a sorta joke and turned it into a franchise that people love, Jamie not so much. This week we are talking "The Last Sharknado: It's About Time" which I went thinking this was the 3rd film in the series, but sadly mistaken. This movie has things that I never thought I would ever see on screen, but now I have.

Next up is our review of "Piranha II: The Spawning", which is free on Youtube, we watch the Director's Cut. But, I also enjoyed hearing about her singing career which includes stories involving Prince, getting the job as singing the end credit song for "Love Potion no. Carole was in so many great movies like Mannequin, The Flamingo Kid, The Shrimp on the Barbie, and more. The movie didn't matter because she chose most of her roles based on where they were being shot. Carole grew up with her first love of singing where she was singing all over the world, but then after going to an audition just to support a friend, she was called in to audition and got it. The next sequel we are reviewing is "Piranha II: The Spawning” and for it, I interviewed Actress, Singer, and Activist Carole Davis. Melanie talked about growing up in Boston, becoming a dancer in NYC, doing broadway and off broadway, her big-time commercials she did, landing Friday the 13th, a wild story about "Best of the Best", and more. I was lucky enough to interview the Final Girl from it, our 1st Friday the 13th Survivor, Pam Roberts herself actress Melanie Kinnaman. This movie is the Halloween III of the Jason Voorhees saga because it tried something new that a lot of fans love and hate, it's quite the lightning rod. The next sequel that will be discussed is a Friday the 13th even though we don't have any more Friday the 13ths this year and we are doing Part V: A New Beginning.
This is a video review you can watch at /Piranha2 Piranha II had us discussing flying fish, boating a boat, an odd relationship with Anne and her son, dynamite fishing, and more. Nick came prepared with some behind the scene stories and even noticed some parts of Piranha II that would show up in later James Cameron flicks. For this one, we brought back our buddy Nick, who has helped us make sense of Munchie, Ghoulies, and more. YEP, James Cameron directed this one, well 75% of it until he was fired for taking too many shots. This week we are talking "Piranha II The Spawning" and this just so happens to be our second James Cameron-directed flick this year.
